WHAT
IS IT?
A professional training program for clowns, perfected in collaboration
with the State of South Carolina Emergency Medical Service, Charleston,
SC , the Emmett Kelly Clown Festival, Houston, Missouri and the faculty
of the The Ohio College of Clowning Arts. In all our work we consider
clowns as actors who specialize in broad physical comedy.
WHO DO WE SERVE?
Novices: At our on line learning center we work with
you to develop the essential element of every clown – CHARACTER.
Performing clowns: Individual or small group coaching
at our Akron, Ohio Center. In collaboration with you, we develop an individualized
program that meets your performing needs. Topics include but are not limited
to:
- Make-up
- Stage Movement
- Physical Comedy
- Makeup and Costume
Design
- Improvisational
Theatre
- Classic
Routine Development
Group
work: Appropriate for clown alleys, church groups or other clown/non-clown
groups. As with individual/ small group coaching, we work with you to
determine areas of concentration and then tailor the instruction to your
needs.
HOW MUCH DO WE COST?
As
with all our work we tailor to the needs and desires of individual clients.
Therefore, it is impossible to quote an exact cost until we talk. Costs
vary depending on the number of participants enrolled. Hosts arrange location,
set and collect tuition from individual participants.
